RAMPF Tooling prepares complete board package at the Euromold 2007
An industry wide trend is visible: efficient solutions are in demand and this also applies to modeling. For Euromold 2007 RAMPF Tooling has prepared a complete board package that will save you time and money. Based on the idea of a “one stop shop” the Tooling specialist presents its modeling boards and the corresponding adhesives and repair pastes on its stand L145 in hall 8.

As creator of the first polyurethane board RAMPF became internationally renown. RAKU-TOOL modeling and working boards stand for high quality and good mechanical properties. In combination with the corresponding adhesives and repair pastes the products help to produce models efficiently. At Euromold 2007 RAMPF Tooling will for the first time present its complete package solution consisting of modeling, styling and working boards as well as epoxy adhesives and polyester repair pastes.
The very fine surface structure of the board materials pays off when it comes to the finishing. Through the use of the corresponding adhesives which are as far as pos-sible matched in density, hardness and color to the board materials the bonding lines are less visible and the surface finish is therefore better. The user has to do less finishing work and saves time and cost.
One of the key points to be observed when bonding and repairing is that the surface to be bonded is completely free from grease and dust and that for a better impregnation of the surfaces the adhesive is applied to both sides. For vertical or rough surfaces a slightly thixotropic adhesive should be used to avoid it leaking out of the joint.
