1993 Set up of a state of the art equipment
Set up of a state of the art equipment for the production of the complete board range for modeling, styling and tooling. The production area is now 1.500 m².
1994 Start of a cooperation with global distributors
Start of a cooperation with global distributors. The production area is increased to 2.500 m².
2002 New plant / set up of the service area
The new plant in Grafenberg comprises a large logistics area and further production facilities for board materials.
A further milestone is the set up of the service area for large volume castings.
2003 Foundation of RAMPF Group, Inc.
In June RAMPF goes abroad with the foundation of RAMPF Group, Inc. which is initially located in Holland, Ohio. Today the subsidiary is based in Wixom near Michigan. It represents the basis for sales and service support for the Northern American market.
2005 RAMPF Group Japan, K.K., located in Osaka is founded
In October RAMPF Group Japan, K.K., located in Osaka is founded. Matthias Rampf, the youngest son of Rudolf Rampf, will manage the business starting in 2006.
2006 Sales and distribution of all RAKU-TOOL® products
RAMPF Tooling starts with sales and distribution of all RAKU-TOOL® products with its own sales team and an international network of partners.
2009 New innovation center
The brand-new innovation center based in Grafenberg was opened by RAMPF Tooling with an in-house exhibition. In the new RAMPF Group building the modeling specialist can now make use of state-of-the-art premises for its laboratory, applications technology, training and education.
2010 RAMPF Tooling introduces first eco board and celebrates 30 year board history
A new eco board, RAKU-TOOL® MB-0540, which is predominantly manufactured with recycled materials from the sister company RAMPF Ecosystems, has been introduced into the market. Furthermore RAMPF is celebrating its 30 year anniversary of producing board materials. In 1980 Rudolf Rampf invented the first polyurethane modeling board which was introduced into the market under the name UREOL*. Today all boards are available under the umbrella brand RAKU-TOOL.
